Fabulously French website and Desade My Ventana Decades ago I sewed a cabinet skirt for my sister's first kitchen using green gingham cotton with a ruffled valance that looked very charming in her little cottage.  Gingham check patterns  revive any dull room or area but also look fresh with the rustic charm of Tuscan decor.  Big or little checks and tartan plaids can be paired with fabrics of florals, toile, paisleys, swiss dots etc.    They never seem to go out of style and there's so many different patterns and coordinating colors to choose.   Here's some of my most current finds for using gingham and checks...

Add Bling to Photos

Adding bows, lights, or text is fairly easy to do. Here I made a collage using three photos and then added text.  To add more "bling" to the lower photo, I added a lace sleeve to the bottle, three different bows, hanging crystals, and light sparkles using the Perfect Image app.  I like the bling look.
