I snapped these windows with lovely shutters and flowers in Orvieto (upper right) and Lucca (bottom).  They remind me of the beautiful Tuscan ceramics and the delicious fruits and vegetables in the markets of the area.

The luxurious Giorgio Hotel (above) in Portofino, Italy, offers a great view of the Ligurian sea (Riviera).  Stroll directly up the hill from the village of Portofino to visit the St. George Church (left) and this boutique hotel. The earth tone walls are common to the area.  The views are enormous up and down the Ligurian Riviera coastline from this location.

Beautiful Bellagio, Lake Como (left) and a Venice window (right).  The colors in Bellagio are just quintessential Italy in my opinion.  Love the village and the best time to visit is October.  It seemed like we had it all to ourselves as they get ready to close shops in November.
